NEW Girls BB State TOP 25 Rankings

Piedmont’s big two from last season — Trinity Zamora (left) and Natalia Martinez (center) — has become a big three this year with the emergence of Eva Levington (right) as one of the top players in the San Francisco Bay Area. Photo: Mark Tennis.

The mess created with almost a dozen ranked teams in action on MLK Day that caused a delay in the rankings being released has been cleaned up but the who-beat-who syndrome continues with inconsistencies and a high number of knee injuries also impacting the pecking order as well. The first 12 spots didn’t change from last week but after that an outcome from last week that was made right this week changed things. We also welcome two newcomers with one having been previously ranked.
