Here is the first of three updated lists of players considered as nominees for the various 2022 season all-state football teams. These are from Northern California CIF sections (not including Central Section). Thanks to everyone who sent in info about these players compared to the first list of nominees that we compiled. It’s not too late to contribute an opinion. The first all-state teams (for sophomores) will hopefully be out by Friday. This is the 45th consecutive year of Cal-Hi Sports all-state football teams.

Please send any nomination with each athlete’s height, weight, position, year in school, significant statistics. Comparing a player not on the board yet to one who already is also can be very important toward eventual selection. Limit each nomination to one page please.
