This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. Since anyone from football will have a big outing this week in a state final and every one of those will be written up separately, this feature also will switch almost all to basketball next week. Football’s best this week are from Laguna Hills and Granada Hills. In hoops, we have the freshman son of a former NBA standout with 46 points and a freshman girl who blocked 16 shots in one game.
