JSerra wins its first CIFSS D1 title and goes to No. 2 this week behind new No. 1 St. Francis of Mountain View. Foothill of Pleasanton (up to No. 3) and Valley Christian of San Jose (up to No. 6) also are in striking positions. All four of the CIFSS D1 semifinalists are eligible to play on for the CIF Southern California regional title, but will have to wait until Sunday to find out where and which teams they’ll play. This week’s highest newcomer is Righetti of Santa Maria.
