This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. In baseball, we highlight a girl pitcher from Anaheim who will start in a CIF Southern Section final with an 11-0 record plus we have a UCLA recruit striking out nearly everyone he’s facing in the San Diego Section and a player from a 23-3 team that surprisingly was left out of its section playoffs. In softball, there are players reported with 12 and nine RBIs for one game and 10 for the week.
