NEW State TOP 25 Softball Rankings

After earning their spot in their second straight CIF Southern Section D1 championship game, players from Roosevelt of Eastvale had a lot to be proud of. Photo: Twitter.com.

The CIF Southern Section playoffs were conducted with three rounds in five days last week and have already reached the championship stage while other CIF sections have yet to even begin. This all helped to create lots of changes in this week’s rankings as St. Francis (MV) moves up to No. 1 with Clovis North back up to No. 2. Previous No. 1 Oaks Christian lost in the CIFSS D1 semis as Roosevelt (Eastvale) and Los Alamitos have made it to the final. Oaks could still keep playing in the regionals, but there are major questions about which players and teams may be opting out due to travel ball commitments.
