This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. It’s all baseball & softball this week. In baseball, several leading underclassmen are featured, including the freshman son of L.A. Dodgers’ third base coach Dino Ebel. There’s also a pitcher now 8-0 with a 0.33 ERA. In softball, Fort Bragg’s Cassiti Baroni throws her third straight no-hitter, another girl has 12 RBI in one day while another goes past 200 strikeouts as a pitcher for the season.
