With some of the early season tournaments and showcase events completed, and with our preseason No. 1 team losing to No. 2, it made sense to do the first regular season state rankings heading into the December tournaments. The first nine spots got a shakeup and there was more movement near the bottom with four newcomers joining the mix. Also, a public school tops the rankings and two public schools, both from the Inland Empire portion of the CIF Southern Section, are in the top four.
