We continue our boys basketball coverage for Gold Club members with an updated look at the close of the school year at the state’s top college prospects in the sophomore (2023) class. Our final 2023 Cal-Hi Sports Top 65 for the 2020-21 school year shows nine newcomers since our last update and many fast-rising prospects. Our final rankings of the 2020-21 school year will introduce the 2024 class.

The final 2023 Cal-Hi Sports Top 65 is based on evaluations since our last published Hot 100 updates in June of 2020. That encompasses any fall league evaluations in 2020, the altered 2020-21 CIF spring season and any grassroots evaluations thereafter.

During the 2019-20 cycle, we did not publish winter rankings updates and only did two updates (post-summer, final). For 2020-21 we are only doing one set of final rankings. For the 2021-22 cycle, we hope to get back to our normal routine of three updates over the course of a calendar year.
