NEW State TOP 35 Baseball Rankings

With both teams winning CIFSS titles and both opting out of this week’s first-ever CIF SoCal regional playoffs, we’ll never know which team for sure — Thousand Oaks & Harvard-Westlake — should be No. 1 in the state for baseball this season. For this week, it’s Lancers No. 1, Wolverines No. 2 and that likely isn’t going to change. We also have Buchanan moving up to No. 3 this week with Eastlake and Valley Christian (San Jose) both joining the top 10. Newcomers for these next-to-last final rankings are Granite Hills (El Cajon), Bishop Amat, Mira Costa and San Pedro.
