It’s been a couple of weeks since doing the all-time all-L.A. County team on its own as part of this series, so here’s the next installment. For this one, we’re checking out the all-time top players from the CIF Central Coast Section, CIF San Diego Section, CIF Oakland Section plus those from Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Oakland may only be one league, but its first five would be comparable to any top five from most states and most cities in the U.S.

Note: For these teams below, we have a first five and second five for each and then others who were considered in the notes. We were definitely looking for at least one player among the five who could be a guard, one who could be a forward and one who could be listed as a center. The boys basketball version of this series is actually going to be done in four parts instead of three because in basketball the gigantic numbers of players from Los Angeles County required a separate post of its own.
