Based on how these players did after high school, here is a look at three more of these teams in another short series we’re doing as we wait for the next football season to hopefully begin in the state. For this group of teams, we have the CIF San Diego Section, CIF Central Coast Section and Los Angeles County. Note: All of these teams are going to be chosen according to the same parameters in which the annual all-state teams have been chosen for many years — 11 on offense with a kicker, 11 on defense with a punter, six on multi-purpose for a total of 30. It’s therefore not a list of the 30 top players. There are no set numbers of players for each position group, except five for the offensive line and must be at least three for defensive line, linebackers and defensive backs. For players from schools that have switched CIF sections over the years, we’ll list players according to the sections they were in at the time they played.
