We begin announcing the 41st annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Boys Basketball Teams with a look at the best of the best among juniors, sophomores and freshmen. State Team of the Year Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth leads the pack with three honorees (one junior, one sophomore, one freshman) but there are a bunch of schools with two, including Bishop O’Dowd of Oakland, Damien of La Verne, Campolindo of Moraga, Centennial of Corona and San Ysidro. While this is a Gold Club post, the one for all-state teams according to CIF divisions will be free and will be finished in a few days.
