As is another of our traditions, we present our expanded, final State Top 40 overall boys basketball team rankings, this time covering the shortened 2019-20 season. With more teams since 1984-85 that won their last game, there is not much movement from our previous weekly update because there was no NorCal upsets in the CIF state championship games because the games never got played. Teams that go up in the final rankings include Riordan of San Francisco and Westchester of Los Angeles, plus a look at comparisons to our preseason rankings. For our analysis and writeups on all 40 teams, check out the rankings that have been around twice as long as any other and go twice as deep.
