All-State Football 2019: Juniors

Following the release of our all-state sophomores several days ago, it’s time just before the Super Bowl to announce those who are all-state juniors for the 2019 season. State Junior of the Year Tyler Buchner of La Jolla Bishop’s was placed multi-purpose due to his massive rushing totals to go with his passing. That left a spot on first team for another quarterback who doesn’t run it as much and that ended up going to Mission Hills Alemany’s Miller Moss. Sierra Canyon, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco are the only schools with more than two honorees, but it’s not as large a total for SoCal’s big two as recent seasons (so maybe there’s hope for everyone else in 2020).

This is proving to be one of the most tricky, difficult classes of California football players to select for all-state honors.
