For this final stop of our exclusive preseason football tour of the entire state, which has listed players from Humboldt-Del Norte and Yreka in the north to the Imperial Valley in the south, we’re landing in the combined CIF Southern Section valleys of San Fernando, San Gabriel, Santa Clarita and Antelope (plus a couple of L.A. schools). Teams from the Mission League always do well on these teams, but we also have multiple honorees from Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth), South Hills (West Covina) and Muir (Pasadena).
Note: These preseason all-section teams will be done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Not every all-section team will have writeups of every player. Some will have an intro, then lists. Players from the CIF Oakland Section were considered for the NCS East Bay squad while players from San Francisco were considered for the CIF Central Coast Section.

We hope you consider a Gold Club membership on CalHiSports.com to view all the preseason all section teams. If this package were presented in a magazine format in older days, it might cost nearly $10 to buy at a newsstand. You can get the entire series of teams for $3.99, which is the cost of a one-month membership to this site. The preseason All-State Teams, which are being done for the 32nd consecutive year, will be a free story, but state record updates and more of the football content this season will be for our Gold Club members only. Just $3.99 for all this massive info plus the first three weeks of state rankings and more? Yep, that’s the deal. For details, CLICK HERE.
