All-State Baseball: Underclass

Two of those on first team are Max Rajcic of Orange Lutheran and T.J. Nichols from Oakmont of Roseville. Max, a junior committed to UCLA, had a 0.39 ERA despite his team’s national schedule. T.J., a junior, was the Co-Player of the Year by the Sacramento Bee (along with senior brother Greg) after Oakmont won CIF Sac-Joaquin Section D2 title. This is the first of four posts announcing the 38th annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Baseball Teams and we begin with the underclassmen. These are the best of the best for juniors, sophomores and freshmen. It’s harder for the younger players grouped with the juniors, but some sophomores broke through and our State Freshman of the Year also is on first team catchers.

ALL PLAYERS LISTED BELOW AND THEIR FAMILIES WILL BE ABLE TO ORDER A SOUVENIR PATCH TO COMMEMORATE THEIR ALL-STATE SELECTION. IT COMES WITH A CERTIFICATE AND HAS BEEN DESIGNED BY OUR PARTNERS AT BILLYTEES.COM TO BE PLACED ON LETTERMEN JACKETS. THE 2019 BASEBALL PATCH CAN BE ORDERED STARTING THIS WEEK. CLICK HERE.
