Maya Brady’s huge game for Oaks Christian in CIFSS D1 playoff game on Thursday has us wondering: What are the best mother-daughter combos in California softball history? Or best for all sports? Maya and her mother, Maureen Brady, would definitely be on the list. We also mention what would be a format we’d like to see for CIF baseball state championships (which along with softball could be coming by 2020-21 school year). Plus, more from the NFL Draft and another school has to change its Indian nickname.
