We’ve all heard of perfect passers in a single game, but for running backs could the equivalent be six carries with all six going for touchdowns? One of those on this week’s honor roll did just that. We also continue to follow hard-to-fathom seasons by sophomore QB Donny Fitzgerald from Coachella Valley of Thermal (41 TD passes in the last six games) and senior RB Jahmon McClendon from Monte Vista of Spring Valley (had state record-tying 99-yard TD run as part of 378-yard night). More than 40 players written up from all corners of the state.
