As the section playoffs get started everywhere in California except two CIF sections, there are four new teams debuting in the State Top 50 for the first time this season, led by new No. 43 Rancho Cucamonga. Also going in are Carlsbad, Inderkum of Sacramento and Tulare. In this group, we also have Valley Christian of San Jose going up from No. 45 to No. 38 and Liberty of Bakersfield going up from No. 44 to No. 50.
