There are only two new teams in this week’s State Top 50. One of those two, Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, posted an impressive win over a state-ranked foe. The other one, Valley Christian of San Jose, is hoping to do that in its game this week. Others getting major rankings upward lifts include Los Alamitos (plus three) and Wilcox of Santa Clara (plus five).
