Preseason All-State FB Teams

Kyle Ford (right) of Orange Lutheran was one of the best receivers. Photos: Prep2Prep.com & lhsoc.org.

We have two squads selected with 30 players each. Defending CIF Open Division champion Mater Dei leads the way with seven who’ve been named with St. John Bosco and Cajon of San Bernardino both checking in with three. Other schools with more than one player chosen are Orange Lutheran, De La Salle, Jesuit of Carmichael, Oaks Christian, Westlake, Folsom, Calabasas and Narbonne.

Note: We hope you enjoy this free post on CalHiSports.com. All players are written up or will be written up in their various preseason all-section or all-area teams. All of those posts are for Gold Club members only. Most of those teams have been posted. A few still remain. Jordan Wilmore of Lawndale already has more than 4,000 yards rushing in his prep career and has D1 offers from USC and most of the Pac-12 Conference. Photo: Twitter.com.
