One of several sophomores to crack the first team lineup is pitcher Kyle Harrison (left) of Concord De La Salle. He was pitcher of the year in the tough East Bay Athletic League with a 9-1 record, a 1.17 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 54 innings. At right is San Luis Obispo’s Cooper Benson. Some have Cooper tagged as the No. 1 prospect among juniors in the state. We put him at first team multi-purpose since he also hit .385 this season and had 42 hits.
