For this week, we are doing the next-to-last divisional state rankings in softball BEFORE the Tuesday section playoff games and will be doing baseball AFTER those contests. There just aren’t that many games left in softball compared to baseball with all sections done except the Southern and North Coast. Top-ranked teams entering the final week are San Marcos (D1), Buena of Ventura (D2), West of Torrance (D3), Templeton (D4) and East Nicolaus (D5).
