If No. 1 Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks and No. 2 Huntington Beach both win in their first games of this week’s SoCal Boras Classic, they would play on Wednesday in a state No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup. Bellarmine of San Jose has already won the NorCal Boras Classic and because of that has jumped to No. 4 in this week’s rankings. The other team coming up strong is new No. 5 Orange Lutheran, which won the National High School Invitational for the second straight year.
