The action doesn’t start until this Saturday but CIF Southern Section Open Division seedings were released last Friday and it’s hard to argue that it’s not the best basketball playoff bracket in the nation. While those seedings always seem to be a little different than our rankings they’re close. If you look at their criteria, it does give that committee more room to maneuver and takes into consideration some things we don’t use in rankings such as computers.
