The race for a CIF Open Division state title will enter the section playoffs phase shortly, and in fact next week in the CIF Southern Section. The race for Ms. Basketball State Player of the Year continues as well, and not surprisingly the top three candidates are on the top three teams. A slight shake-up this week drops the CIF North Coast Section out of the top 10 and elevates two teams from the Southern Section.
