When you have a team that ended No. 1 in the nation and a roster with double-digit players owning major college scholarships, how to break up that group into the ones that are first team, second team, third team, etc. becomes very difficult. Plus, we have lists of others who can now say they are all-state sophomores and more who can now say they are all-state freshmen. Go inside as well for more final notes on the process and on some additional players.

Note: We also have an Inside the All-State Teams feature coming this week for baseball plus Class of 2019 player rankings in football. A special feature in which we rank the all-time best softball teams in state history also is coming in August. All of those items plus this one are for Gold Club members only. This is a great time to sign up and you can get it for just $9.99 for three months. For details, CLICK HERE.

When the 2017 softball season began at Los Alamitos, it was reported that the Griffins had 14 seniors with D1 college scholarships and many of those were going to schools in major college conferences.
