This group of teams starting at No. 26 is led off by ultra-talented Calabasas, which hopes to go even further in its CIF state division this season. Last year’s NorCal D1-AA representative to the CIF state bowl games, No. 27 Bellarmine of San Jose, is rebuilding but can’t be counted out. In this group as well is Central Catholic of Modesto (four straight CIF state titles).
