Open Division:
Chino Hills 83, De La Salle (Concord) 63
It doesn’t look like the high-flying Huskies will get to 100 points against the rugged Spartans, but shouldn’t be denied from the date with destiny.
Division I:
Crespi (Encino) 68, Berkeley 57
Yellowjackets may make it even closer than some may think. They seem to like playing in the 916.
Division II:
Long Beach Poly 64, Serra (San Mateo) 60
Jackrabbits haven’t been at full strength often this season, but they are now.
Division III:
Manteca 68, Ayala (Chino Hills) 67
Experience of playing at Sleep Train before is an advantage for Buffaloes.
Division IV:
Harvard-Westlake (N. Hollywood) 58, Palma (Salinas) 51
Love that comeback last week by Palma, but the Chieftains probably should have lost. Makes it hard to pick them here.
Division V:
St. Bernard (Playa del Rey) 61, St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda) 57
Both teams are used to playing tough competition. Just like St. Bernard’s league a bit better.
