It’s been a long time since Mater Dei has not had a spot in these state rankings, but after the Monarchs suffered two straight setbacks in the CIFSS Open playoffs with losses to Etiwanda and Santa Barbara they have to fall back. Will it be for good, however? They can still win a CIF state title.
