The big four stays the same in the latest boys basketball state rankings, with Foothills Christian moving up into the top five despite a loss to No. 1 Chino Hills. Redondo Union and Folsom crack the top 10 because of losses by Corona Centennial and L.A. Fairfax. Did L.A Westchester now move in front of the team it just beat and its L.A. City Section rival? The newcomers are Ridgeview of Bakersfield and Santa Margarita. And finally remember that next week’s rankings will be done AFTER the MLK Monday games on Jan. 18.
