The 16 Elite California Teams Prepare to Vie for the Boras Baseball Classic De-facto State Championship Title

Newport Beach, CA, January 6, 2016—The Boras Foundation announced today the final competitors for the highly anticipated 2016 Boras Baseball Classic.

The 32-team invitational pits 16 of the most elite high school teams from Northern California against 16 teams from Southern California to name a de-facto state championship.

“Being able to give back to the community through the Boras Baseball Classic for players to achieve their goal of taking their passion for baseball to the next level is what this is all about,” said Scott Boras, Director of The Boras Foundation. “Growing the Classic each year and watching the players grow into collegiate and professional athletes is why the Boras Foundation started the Classic.”

When are all of you so called sports writers for high school baseball going to get off of the Huntington Beach band wagon? Basically, they suck and are getting killed by a variety of teams ie JW North in the Boris Classic. And Hagen Danner might be the most OVER RATED pitcher in the country. Look at his record and ERA

Team that wins CIFSS Division I title and also the NHSI doesn’t “suck.” Overrated perhaps. But let the season completely play itself out before making too many bold statements.

Ron Overrated OK I will remember to thank you by name when my name is called and I cash that 7 figure check in June 2017.
HB has been playing without 3 of they’re top players. Logan Pouelsen is out for the year. Nick Pratto will be able to play in a couple of days. Minato is back from injury and getting up to speed. Just wait until I get back up to speed after not pitching for a few months. Ronnie Boy thanks for the Motivation….Not that I needed it. Oh yeah by the way Play HB schedule, 2 vs Jserra, 2 vs Aliso Nigel, Olu,Chaminade, Playing in the NHSI in NC.. Losing to JW North less than 24 hrs after getting off a plane from NC. Yeah HB is Overated and so am I..
