There probably was a lot of sweat involved for John Swett of Crockett to beat Richmond Salesian last week and win its way into this week’s Division V state rankings. Other newcomers include Cajon of San Bernardino (D2) and Capital Christian of Sacramento (D4). Still No. 1 are De La Salle of Concord (D1), Clayton Valley of Concord (D2), Calabasas (D3), Sierra Canyon (D4) and Grace Brethren (D5). The D3 top ranking over the next two weeks also could get very interesting.
With the CIF bowl games now in 13 divisions and with it basically impossible to place teams into those divisions in a weekly format, we are rebooting our traditional five-division state rankings first done in 1975. For a section-by-section updated look at which divisions each team in the state is going to be ranked this season, CLICK HERE.
Note: There are not going to be separate free and premium posts for new rankings this season. All new rankings will be for Gold Club members only. The only way we’ll be offering free new rankings is if we were to obtain a sponsor for them. Please consider joining our team today. It’s a great time to sign up and cost for a yearly subscription is going up possibly as early as next week. For details, CLICK HERE.
