According to records provided by the school, Bishop Montgomery head coach Doug Mitchell also won his 600th game when the Knights captured the CIF Southern Section Open Division title. Mitchell’s wins from earlier years at South of Torrance were finally obtained. Heading into this week, his career record is 601-200.
