It was 35 years ago (1980) when the very first Cal-Hi Sports state preseason football rankings were compiled. We start 2015 with the state’s top 50 preseason teams. This second group leads off with Santa Margarita in the No. 11 position. Others written up include Liberty of Bakersfield, Del Oro of Loomis, Mission Viejo, Helix of La Mesa, Redlands East Valley, Bellarmine of San Jose and Alemany of Mission Hills.
