Just for fun, since we also do the Student Sports FAB 50 national rankings in boys volleyball, here’s a look at final State Top 20 boys volleyball rankings after all matches from Saturday’s NorCal and SoCal regional championships.
Note that there are no state finals and that there are three divisions in the south compared to two for the north.
Huntington Beach won its second straight SoCal Division I title on Saturday night in a 3-0 sweep of Loyola and extended its winning streak to 64 matches. The Oilers have been No. 1 in the FAB 50 all season and will be a repeat mythical national champion.
